"Lonely Friend"

After seeing this photo, I had to sit back and think about this for a moment. Phil loves to explore, and loves his new home. But his friend is lonely. Phil has already stated he would never go back in a permanent fashion, only to visit. So, I did the only think I possibly could to keep these guys in contact...I got Phil a Cell Phone! ( And yes, that is a Blackberry Storm, and Phil is spoiled! )

Well, as short as this blog was, I figured you all had the right to know what was going on, and also the resolution to the problem at hand.
But I did have one more point to this...The first person to provide me a picture of Phil's FRIEND with HIS cell phone will get an exclusive meet and great, and Urban Explore with Phil. As well will be offered to name Phil's friend for future blog reasons.

wow such a spoiled mug!! lol but i'm so happy they are able to keep in touch, it must suck to be stuck in that house all alone while Phil is out roaming the world!!! Maybe one day he'll have his own adventures :D

That's awesome for Phil! Though for one brief, shining moment I thought Phil was going to get an adventure buddy. As short as the blog was, it was an emotional roller-coaster for me.
ReplyDeleteLOL..this is a great blog and a great adventure! We actually saw this blog Thursday night when we checked flickr quick from my Dad's house in Huntsville but, we were exhausted so never posted then and we are just unwinding now from our camping trip. When we saw the blog and the new challenge we thought "geeeez I guess we are going to miss out on this one"...but, then last night when we got home we noticed Phil's buddy still doesn't have a new cell phone. We were really surprised cause we were sure we would miss the boat on this one.This is a warning though...ya'll better hurry over to Phil's old house and get the picture of Phil's friend cause we do plan on going back over to visit Phil's friend as soon as we can find the time.

This is no fair. I'm in Texas and I'm not flying all the way to Canada (Even though Canaad is awesome) to look for a mug! Although it sounds fun....
